In the series of videos I’ve created here are for members only, you’ll find the information you need to add posts to your WordPress website.

Many of the steps for publishing posts are similar to those you use for publishing a static page on your website, which is why I haven’t created a separate set of videos for how to add pages. The real difference is that a page is designed to be permanent content with a link from the navigation tab.

Pages don’t offer the option of creating or using a category to sort the information you post to your site. You may use categories as tabs in your site navigation if you choose, yet it isn’t essential, especially if you choose to have your blog posts appear on your site’s home page.

Because posts are the lifeblood of any blog, learning how to add a post to your WordPress website is a basic skill you absolutely must learn if you want to build your presence on the web.
