Do nothing. You will never know what opportunities you missed, yet I can understand if you think the time, energy, and possible cost may not seem worth it.

Do it yourself. You may eventually get the job done, and that’s great. Just be prepared for it to take months. Then depending on your writing skills, you may still need to hire someone to proof-read and edit your book.

A poorly written book will hurt your reputation, even if you do sell some copies. A well-written book accomplishes far more than bringing in some income from book sales.
